Feeding and swallowing

We have experience in paediatric feeding and swallowing difficulties from birth to 12 years, including infant feeding at the breast or bottle, babies transitioning to solids, toddlers learning to eat family meals and children of all ages struggling with eating or drinking.
Medical, developmental, nutritional, social or emotional factors can all contribute to feeding problems. Through a comprehensive assessment, we work to understand the root of the feeding difficulty and any areas that may be contributing to feeding or swallowing issues. An individualised treatment plan is then developed and implemented in partnership with the family and any other health professionals involved.
